I have been a babysitter & mother's helper with a range of age groups since I was 15 (now 36, but still a kid at heart) and have worked as a pre-school teacher, swim instructor, school age counselor, and director in youth and family programming for a non-profit for most of my professional life. I have been laid off and have had some time to spend with nieces and nephews as well as friends' children. I am really enjoying the opportunity to work directly with kids again and see the world through their eyes.
I am serious about children’s safety and development, but never take myself too seriously. I love to cook, do arts and crafts, play make believe, and just be silly with kids, while always trying to help them learn a little something.
