I came to the United States four years ago as an AuPair. I lived in a family and took care of their infant daughter. I prepared her milk, changed her diapers, took her for walks. When she got older I prepared her meals and snacks, went for play dates, to the playground, to the zoo, botanical garden, museum, and the shopping mall. I taught her German (by the time my AuPair program was finished (after almost 2 years) she understood perfectly and could talk some German.)
I also taught her how to clean up after playing and to share her toys with other children. We read stories and listened to children's music as well as danced to it. Very often we painted or did other crafts.
I love babies and toddlers and enjoy my time with them.
