Hello! My name is Lila Borton and I attend The Ohio State University. I just completed my second year as a speech and hearing sciences major. I plan on going to grad school and becoming a speech language pathologist after graduating. I come from a small town where I babysat for children ranging from ages 2-14 and was a lifeguard at our community pool for four years. I am certified in CPR and First Aid.  I currently take care of two kids, 10 yr old boy and a 5 yr old girl. I pick them up from school, help with homework, and take them to and from various practices and activites. I have my own transportation and I have a clean driving record. I have a basic understanding of Spanish. While taking classes, I have volunteered with The Ohio State Medical center.

I love to cook and bake, as well as teaching kids how to cook and bake. In high school, I played varsity soccer and swam on the varsity swim team all four years. I am comfortable with giving children swim lessons and helping with their soccer skills. I have worked with swimmers ranging from afraid to the water to working on perfecting their strokes. 

I have a cat and a dog back home and I am very comfortable with both.  Although I haven't babysat a newborn in 3 years, I know how to change diapers, warm bottles, and I know infant/toddler CPR.
