     I am an active, former college athlete, who has recently relocated to the Columbus area for graduate school. Starting in the fall, I will be attending the Columbus College of Art and Design to recieve a  Master of Fine Arts. As a caregiver, I intend to keep children both physically and mentally stimulated. By engaging in these activities at a young age, children are instilled with a healthy lifestyle.

     During my time as a college athlete, I was a coach for several youth soccer clubs. I worked with a wide range of kids from 3 years old to high school age. I really enjoyed working with the younger age groups, and got the greatest satisfaction from their success and improvements. This desire to coach is a big part of how I interact with children, and any children that I take care of will be active and learn a wide range of different sports and games that will benefit a healthy lifestyle.

     I would also include my experiences as a artist to help stimulate the children daily. I believe strongly in the benefits of the creative process, especially to young children. I have done several arts and crafts activities with my niece and nephew that i believe have aided in their development, and I would continue this practice with any other children under my care.
