I will start off by saying that I love taking care of children and pets. I enjoy doing housework and helping children with homework. I am studying psychology at The Ohio State University and it has helped me to understand a lot about how to take care of children and how to handle children with mental or physical impairments. I would consider myself to be an experienced babysitter. I have had experience with all ages and also many different pets. I enjoy finding ways to play with children as well as teaching them when I can. I can cook fairly well and I am always willing to adjust my cooking to the children's needs. I have several references on the way that I have unfortunately lost touch with since I have left for collage. I took some time off from babysitting to work at other jobs around campus but I have realized that I like caring for children and pets a lot more. I currently am unemployed and volunteer at the local sexual assault center as a hospital advocate. I deal with stress and trauma management of survivors. I have had a consideral amount of caregiving experience in my own life with people in my family. I grew up babysitting and caring for my youngest brother who is younger than me by 12 years. I have babysat him for my parents since the day he was born so I would consider myself fully capable of caring for an infant. I also have have multiple dogs. I currently have a jack russell terrier that lives with me in my apartment and I have trained him from when he was a puppy. I am fully willing to follow any instructions that a parent gives me in caring for their children. I can do things like pick children up from school or sports, cook and clean, and also help children be physically active.
