Hello! My name is Megan and I'm 33 years old. I own my home in North Royalton. I have my bachelors degree in Human Development & Family Studies. I've also completed some graduate coursework in the field of criminal justice but I'm currently taking a break from my studies. Currently, I work as a legal guardian for the elderly and mentally ill throughout the county. Previously, I worked with crime victims in the court system.
I've always worked with children and eight years ago I co-created a day camp for children of murdered parents. Morbid, I know...but unfortunately, it seems to be a necessity with the work that I've done. In high school I was a camp counselor for a camp for abused and neglected children in Illinois. I began babysitting 20 years ago while in junior high and continued doing so off and on throughout high school and college. I continue to do so because I work in the underpaid social services field. I love all of the children I care for and many of the parents have become good friends of mine over the years.
I'm available all evenings and anytime on the weekends. I am also open to doing overnights, if requested. I would need to drop the kids off by 8:00am and I could pick them up at 5:00pm. Overnight rates are negotiable. I also have a big place in my heart for pets so I'm open to petsitting as well while you're out of town. Regretfully, I don't have the availability to do any "after school" positions. I'm also employed with a fulltime job that I love so I'm not able to consider any fulltime positions. I also have experience with twins, cerebral palsy, visual impairment, ADD/ADHD and autism. Additionally, I have cared for up to seven children at a time and ages ranging from 11 weeks through teen years.

I stumbled upon this site the other day looking for someone to babysit my daughters 6 month old. I came across Megan, sent her an email and she responded within 3 hours!
