For the past year I have been serving with AmeriCorps NCCC, based out of Denver, CO, I have had the chance to work with environmental programs, rebuilding efforts, unmet needs and disaster relief, which included responding to Hurricane Ike in Galveston, TX and the Fargo, ND flooding.
