I gave Kim a key to my house - that is how trustworthy she is. She has been caring for my 1yo daughter since April 2011, and my daughter adores her. That is because Kim is high energy and creative and does not rely on TV to entertain the children. Kim was FABULOUS! We hired her for a three day job when we came to town for a wedding to watch and care for three 7-8 yr old children. She came prepared, organized and obviously having done her homework! She was able to engage and entertain three very active, inquisitive children in a variety of settings - including a hotel room, mall and wedding reception. She came prepared with toys, books and games. Each child asked, each day, if "KIm was coming again?" They LOVED her! She was conscientious, caring, flexible and thorough. Each night when we returned from our activities, she gave each set of parents a written report about what the children had done, eaten and how they had gotten through their day. In addition, she sent us texts throughout the day/evening to let us know how things were going. She was informative without being intrusive. We were able to relax knowing that our children were in good hands . This was our first experience using sittercity and we would HIGHLY recommend her for your childcare needs. - Michael G.

Kim is amazing! I would highly recommend Kim to anyone. You can tell right away that she is a pro with kids. She watched my son and my friend's daughter (both 1 year old) during our recent visit to Portland. The kids were immediately comfortable with her and started interacting with her right away. Kim brought a bunch of books and toys, and sang them songs, too. This was especially nice because we were staying in a hotel. I felt very relaxed knowing that they were in good hands. I loved that she texted us a few times to let us know how they were doing, and also left us detailed notes about the evening. Kim was WONDERFUL! We had family in town with a 4 month old, 3 year old boy, and 10 year old boy and they loved her. She was easy to contact, very responsive and even texted me the morning of just to stay in contact. She was 10 minutes early (who doesn't love that?!) and came with BAGS OF TOYS!!! The boys were so excited. She even unloaded our dishwasher and did a few dishes after the kids were in bed. Kim is amazing! Recently we had her sit for our 4 mo. old twin boys on very short notice. This was the first time I had left my boys & as a new mother I was a nervous wreck. After speaking to her over the phone my mind was put at ease. She showed up 10 min early With her favorite story & song books. Both my boys took right to her with big bright smiles the moment they saw her. Thru the Evening she texted me updates on how thing were going. By the time we returned home both boys were sleeping & the house was quiet & peacefully.
