I have one younger sister (11) who I helped take care of when she was growing up (and still do). I have been a day camp (1st-3rd grade) counselor 3 summers in a row at Beaverton Foursquare church. (I went through an interview process and much preparation in order to do this, like everyone else.) I also helped with Foster parent night at B4 church (my home church) and have helped my mom take care of some babies from a friend's foster home; (we were giving the foster mom a break). I have been babysitting children of all ages since I was 12, for about 7 different families.

As a camp counselor for 1st-3rd grade I was responsible for 4 kids 6 hours a day for 5 days. I really enjoyed it and was able to handle it. The kids loved it too. I interacted with them in everything the entire time while facilitating everything.
