My name is Joy! i am so excited you are considering me to watch your most valuable investment in life, your child. I've been babysitting kids since I was 13. As a matter of fact,my first job was watching twin toddler girls. Being a twin myself, their mom thought I would be a natural and she was right. Since then I've been a camp councelor for the YMCA, volunteer in the childrens ministry in every church I have belonged in and am a mom myself. What make me qualified to watch your child? I completely understand the need for complete trust, quality of care, and personalized attention. Every child is so much fun and unique.
I am creative, always in a great mood, and keep kids very occupied. I have lots of energy and can keep up with the most energetic kids out there. I love reading, cooking, the outdoors, and staying fit. Being born and raised in California I learned to surf, canoe, bike ride, and played lots of volleyball. I have my Bachelors degree from USC and thrive on learning new things. I am a wife and mother of 2 girls, 2 birds, and a dog named Prince Charming!

We met Joy through SitterCity and she was very accommodating as I ventured into the world of finding a sitter for our 1-year old. As a new parent, I was battling with finding an experienced sitter that I was comfortable with, with whom we enjoyed working (and enjoyed working with us!), and was generally available at the times that were we looking for. Joy has a great attitude when working with our little girl… even when our little one might be in an off-mood or is getting nervous about her parents leaving for a few hours. She's always been enthusiastic and cheerful; a real pleasure all around. Joy has gone above and beyond in my opinion to get to know our little one before their first meeting and afterward through various tools, including a Baby's Journal. Long story short, I couldn't recommend Joy any higher. Both my wife and I are thankful that we've met Joy and that we've ended up being a great match. - Ian M.
