I graduated from East Stroudsburg University in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. Throughout my experience at ESU, I was actively involved in community service, working with children through organizations such as Kappa Delta Pi and SPSEA. After finishing student teaching I was hired as a special education paraprofessional, working with a student on the Autism Spectrum and diagnosed with ADHD. I also worked with another student diagnosed with ADHD and who displayed emotional and behavioral problems.
I continued working with children as a Therapeutic Support Staff worker at a local summer camp. There I worked with a child on the Autism Spectrum.

From October 2010-August 2011, I was hired as a nanny for a family with two boys ages 2 and 4 years old. During my time with the family, I assisted in potty training, taught the 2-year-old how to read and write numbers and letters and taught the 4-year-old how to read, write, and add. We did many activities in the community together such as swimming, t-ball, mommy-and-me classes, gymnastics, going to the park and playground, movies, etc.
While I loved working with this family, they relocated and in August 2011, I obtained employment as a caseworker with Children and Youth. I provided services for at-risk families and investigated child abuse and neglect.

I recently moved to Portland, OR in February and am currently working as a nanny for a family with a two year old child. I love working with children. I love exploring the vast amount of activities the community offers and love teaching children along the way.
