Hi!

My name is Liz, and I am currently a student at the University of Delaware. I will be living in Virginia this summer, and am looking for a child care job. I have a little over five years of experience providing care for children, and I absolutely love it! I babysit for all different types of families, with children ages newborn-14 years old. I really enjoy babysitting younger toddlers, around ages 1-4, but have plenty of experience with older children and am perfectly willing to babysit for them as well! 

I do not have any children of my own, but I do have a puppy, Abby, who I got last year! I love being outside, especially in the spring and summer time. I do a lot of community service volunteer work during the school year, and really value the people I meet in my life and the communication skills I gain through each individual interaction.

I am a very flexible person, and will adapt to and enforce specific house rules. I know all families are different, and have different ways of doing things, so I believe it is important to learn how each family does certain things and handles various situations. I believe in talking things through and helping children learn from mistakes, and do not believe in yelling or harsh punishment as a solution to an issue.

I am a Communications major right now, but I do a lot of art on the side. I really like to do art projects with the kids I babysit, if they like that kind of stuff! I am very energetic and creative, and am open to lots of different activities!
