Thank you for taking the time to read about me! I graduated from West Chester University with a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Special Education in December 2009. After I graduated, I babysat for a family with a 3 month old son. I cared for him until he was 8 months old when at that time his father was home for the summer, and I decided to substitute teach for the year. Being that it has been difficult finding a full time teaching job, I decided to look into nannying. While I was in college I babysat for a number of families for some income. The children that I cared for ranged in age from 8 months to 8 years old. I have a passion and love for kids which is one of the main reasons I decided to become an educator. I would love to stay involved with children while on my search for a career in the education field. If the right family comes along, I would also be willing to spend a year or two being a nanny before finding my lifetime career. :)
