I am currently a teacher in Erie PA but have hopes to stay home with my children starting in June of 2013 in Lake City (Girard).  My son is Preschool age and I would like to start homeschooling him and invite 2 to three additional children into our home to learn with him.  Being a teacher now, I plan to provide a structured yet nurturing learning environment where he and his classmates can get the individualized attention they need and deserve and learn and have fun in the process.  As a mother, I want to know that my child always feels safe and protected and that the people around hiim are fostering qualities such as compassion and acceptance of diversity. I want to provide that type of enviroment in my home where I can ensure my son is mastering the concepts that will provide him the foundation to be successful in whatever avenue he chooses to pursue.  If you are also looking to have you child in this type of environment, we would love to meet with you and see if what I have to offer is right for your families needs.  

I would also be open to monitor your child's homeschool curricullum at my home while you are working or away from the home if you child is in Kindergarten or higher.  

I have my masters degree in special education and intend to provide a daycare/learning enviroment for the children in my care.   I do have experience with special needs children and am very open to all types of kids.  Please contact me if you are looking for a place for your child that will provide them with both nurture and knowledge!  :)  I am also open to providing after school care for students.  I have been a math teacher for the last 5 years so I would be able to provide assistance with homework. 

I am a stay at home mother with two children (One Preschool age and one newborn).

I have experience with Special Needs.
I am CPR and first aid certified and have all necessary clearances.
I keep the children active all day long and encourage independence.
I offer breakfast, lunch and snack but also offer the option to lower
your child care cost by letting you bring your own food.
We will provide structured learning activities 
We also have Music time, Art time and tons of fun time!
We have a fenced in yard with lots of toys.
We have a very clean and smoke free home and clean it daily after all
the children leave.
