I have not done many babysitting gigs, but I was one of the oldest girls in my mother's Girl Scout troup and often helped her with supervising and taking care of the others on outings, during meetings, etc. I've helped them with their homework, helped them learn a play, learn kitchen safety, learn hygiene, learn about tradition, exhibit honor and responsibility, practice safety with household items, etc. I was the oldest girl and unofficial assistant leader since the age of thirteen. I've also babysat my neighbor's little girl, who was around 7 years old.Â
