I offered Kayla a childcare position with my company and she accepted it. I offered her the job verbally and followed up in writing. Kayla confirmed acceptance of the position in writing. The week before Kayla was to begin working, I followed up with her as it had been a couple of weeks since we had spoken. Kayla did not return the phone calls or the emails I sent to make sure she was still planning to work for my company. Because of Kayla's failure to follow through on her commitment, I was left in a bad predicament. This type of uncourteous, unprofessional behavior is totally acceptable. I would not recommend Kayla be hired for a childcare postion. - Tamilyn C.
