Hello! Thank you for visiting my page. Currently, I am a second year student at U of Texas at Austin where I run track and cross country. I am majoring in undergraduate studies and work part time at a Pre K demonstration school.
I have always had an interest in working with young children and helping them succeed in life. Having 2 nephews (2 yrs and 8yrs), and a niece (6 yrs) has given me a large amount of experience working with children. For several summers in a row I volunteered as a camp counselor and supervised young kids with various disabilities. At my current job I create fun gym activities for Pre K students and direct the activities for several classes each day. Running around with children and teaching them how to throw balls and play chase has ultimately been the most rewarding and entertaining experience I have encountered with children.
It seems that whichever path I choose to take it always somehow includes children. Kids bring out a light and joy in me and have repeatedly looked to me as a role model. I hope to obtain position as a sitter or nanny so that I can use my current experience and gain new skills as well.
