Hello! I am recent Stanford college graduate who loves to work with kids!

So much so that it is my current career and profession. I work as the Children's Services Coordinator at the InnVision the Way Home Opportunity Center. My main role is to design and implement an after school program during the school year and an all day summer program during the summer for 16 amazing kids. As a result, I have strong experience in working with a large group of kids at once and in a large age range (kindergarten to high school) and in executing fun, safe, educational programming for children. I have done everything from kid's cooking classes to swimming lessons to hiking to reading help to museum trips to yoga classes to 6th grade math homework! I have been at this position for almost a full year, having just finished a successful summer and many months of after-school programming.

As an educational background, I studied Human Biology at Stanford University with a concentration in Women and Children's Global Health. I strongly believe in the individuality and incredible potential of every child and strive to look for ways to help children realize this within themselves all while having fun! I love doing anything with kids that let's them shine, whether that be playing a game, playing pretend, doing arts and crafts or running around.

I have 6 younger siblings, all under the age of 14, whom I miss terribly. I pride myself in being a strong presence in their lives and have grown up helping my parents take care of and babysit them. It is my experience with them and seeing the joy of watching them develop that has given me a strong love of interacting with children.

Finally, I have experience of working as a camp counselor for 2 years when I was in high school.
