Hi ! My name is Rebekah and I'm 20 years old. I'm currently a junior at UT studying elementary education planning on one day becoming a Kindergarten teacher! I have 5 brothers and sisters, 4 sisters and 1 brother. My youngest sister is 5 years old and I've been with her helping raise her since she was born. When I came to Austin, I started babysitting and my first job was a family of 8! 6 kids.. ages 7,6,5,2 and two 1 year old twins. I have done everything from cooking, cleaning, giving bathes, changing diapers, to driving kids places and taking them to the park. I have volunteered at Dell Children's hospital, Austin Stone Community Church & Total Communication (a speech-therapy clinic here in Austin). I worked as a therapy tech for about a year, working one on one with patients at an occupational therapy/speech therapy clinic. Over my first two years of college, I met many families through hirealonghorn and church that I have babysat for. I've babysat for kids of all ages, but I mostly babysit the little ones because I love to just play and watch them grow! I currently started volunteering at Metz Elementary School in the HOSTS program. This program is a mentoring/tutoring program. I enjoy helping kids with their homework and watching them learn! I am a very punctual & responsible person who would love a chance to look after your kids!

Rebekah was very responsive while we worked out the details of her watching our 2 kiddos. We came into Austin from the Houston area so working out the logistics was a bit more complicated than usual. She watched our kiddos on Thanksgiving (taking time away from her own friends and family!) and was great with them keeping them entertained in a hotel room (which could not have been an easy task). I would recommend her to any of my friends who need a sitter and will be staying in touch with her for future visits to Austin for my little family! - Gretchen R.
