My name is Shawna, I am 25 years old, and I have been working with children of all different ages since I was 12. I have worked for two years at a daycare, volunteered as a 2nd grade Sunday School teacher, and have been a nanny during the summers and throughout my college life. I learned many teaching strategies and games to use with the children while working at the daycare. I was the lead teacher for the schoolers and 2 and 3 year olds, and also worked a while in the infant class. I really enjoy doing arts and crafts with the children, along with reading books and playing outside. Ages I have worked with range from one month old to 13 years old.

I graduated from Texas State University with a degree in Speech Language Pathology and a minor in Business. I have been a speech therapy assistant for over 2 years now and LOVE what I do. Due to every child being different, I have had to learn some sign language and single words in Spanish.

Along with caring for your children, including playing with them, feeding them meals and anything else you may like me to do, I also do not mind washing dishes, doing the laundry, tidying up your house, or any other small chores you may need completed.
