Amy D. Babysitter in Dallas, TX 75252. Looking for work as a babysitter.

Hi Moms & Dads! First off, I'm Amy, I am a college student at the University of Kansas (Go Jayhawks!) going on my junior year and majoring in interior design. I graduated from Plano West Senior High School in 2010 as a member of the National Honor Society. Currently I am a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority up at school as well as the Sigma Alpha Lambda National Leadership and Honors Organization. Currently I am serving an internship with a company called RED Retail Experience Design. They are an award-winning commercial/architecture design, new constructions, residential interior design serving the DFW metroplex and I am gaining experience that will aide me in my future. When I am at school I am involved in doing volunteer work with an organization called Natural Ties which allows me to interact with all different kinds of people. But enough about that, now for my babysitting career...

Since middle school I have been babysitting families all around my neighborhood while their parents went out for an evening dinner. When the summer of 2009 began I became a nanny for a family of two girls, one was in 4th grade and the other 6th. During the two summers that I worked for this family I took they girls and their school friends on many excursions. Many days we would go to the country club swimming pool and enjoy the outdoors, and other times I would be taking both girls to their summer camps. The oldest was a horse-back rider and the other loved the musical theater and artist camps. Also, we made a few trips to the water park Hawaiian Falls, and I even took them to see the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato in concert. Needless to say I have done about every babysitting activity! I am an ultimate pet lover, just like I am for kids, and I have a decent amount of cooking knowledge. Homework/summer school help is something I am excellent at and don't mind doing at all. Overall I am an energetic, playful, yet very responsible babysitter and in all my years I have never had a negative experience watching anyones kids. I have always gotten along with boy girls and boys, and always come up with fun activities for all of us to do. Some of my closest family friends have five grandchildren running around their house constantly, and it always puts a smile on my face to see those five little girls. Babysitting is not only a job, but a responsibility and every child I have ever had the pleasure to babysit for I have always made sure they remained safe. That is the most important after all.
