My name is Kelley Corgan. I am a 20 year old college student who lives in Uptown Dallas. I am a current junior at SMU majoring in journalism. I am from Tampa, FL. I have lots of experience with babysitting young children. I first started babysitting at the age of 12 as a "Mommy's helper" until I started babysitting on my own at age fourteen for the same family. I then started to babysit for a family of three for many years until I left for college and still occasionally sit for them when I am home from college. I love babysitting for many reasons; I am the youngest of three and therefore never had any younger siblings. I think it is because of this that I love little kids so much, they are so cute and never cease to make me laugh. I also like to think that I am a good role model that would be a positive influence in the lives of young children. I also think it is incredible to see the kids you babysit grow up, and how fast they go from needing you to do everything for them to just being there for them just in case. The bond between a child and babysitter/nanny is a special one and a bond that allows me to feel I am impacting someone's life in a positive way as well as helping out. Anyways, I believe I would make a great babysitter and I would love the opportunity to get to maybe one day be your babysitter for your children.
