I love working with kids and plan to become an elementary school teacher when I graduate from UNT. I have worked as a camp counselor for the past three summers for both the YMCA and Campfire USA. I also was a group leader for the YMCA afterschool program and a am substitute teacher in Azle ISD. In addition I worked a summer at La Petite daycare. I am both CPR and First Aid certified, and was required 40+ hours of childcare training each year because of my other jobs. I have the Child Abuse Prevention and Working with 5 to 12 year olds certificates, as well as a few trainings on working with children with Aspurgers and Autism. Also, I have six nephews and have taken care of them since they were babies. I still have a great imagination and love to interact with the kiddos. I am not a "sit on the couch" type of babysitter!
I am looking to make babysitting my main job until I finish school, so if you are in need of a regular sitter, let me know!

Laura has been a welcome member of our family for the short time we have had the pleasure of knowing her. She is reliable and punctual. My four children love her and get very excited when they know she is coming over. Laura has been our nanny this summer and she has made our lives a lot easier, I never worry about the kids when they are with her. We will miss her. - Candace L.
