Hi! Thanks for visiting my page. I started babysitting at the age of 15 for two young girls for about 7 years. I was then a nanny in college for a 4yr old and now get to spend time babysitting my friends’ young children. I have references upon request and a flexible schedule. I have a BA from Stephen F. Austin in Sociology and General Business and have worked with children and families in various capacities since then. I currently work for a non-profit, 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday, working with children and families in a federally funded pre-school program.

I enjoy life and love staying busy! My favorite activity with kids is anything outside. I grew up playing outdoors without video games and I think it's important for children to experience nature, bike rides, hiking, and swimming; all the things TV and video games can not offer. Rainy days offer an opportunity to explore our creativity indoors (while keeping the house in order, of course) with activities such as painting, reading, or building a pillow fort. I’m very friendly and children tend to warm up to me easily. I always have a smile on my face and know how to have fun and be silly. Of course, as with all things your child’s safety and well being are my number one priority. I am certified in both First Aid and CPR for adults, children, and infants.
