My name is Madalene McAllister and I have been babysitting for just over four years. I started out babysitting my brother when he was very small and eventually expanded to neighbors and family friends. I have also worked in church nurseries and have been in charge of kids during parental meetings such as PTSA and church meetings. I usually babysit for ages two to twelve but I am able and willing to do any range of kids. I have a black lab mix who is very energetic and I have dog-sat for many friends who have gone away on vacation.

In past summers I have volunteered at many camps as a counselor watching over kids aging six to fourteen. Regular activities included taking the kids to the pool, organizing crafts and activities to do inside, and playing organized games for exercise. I have also helped out in summer school and I was a teaching assistant for a second grade teacher most of my senior year of high school.

I am currently enrolled in the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA. I am working towards a major in Psychology with a minor in Business Spanish. I am also enrolled in the University's Elementary Education and plan on graduating with a masters in five years. I plan to become an elementary school teacher with a license in grades K-6.
