My name is Lauren, I am a 23 year old, compassionate, young woman looking to help out a family who has a bit much on their plate, needs a break, or just would like some extra help! I love kids of all ages and have a passion working with special needs children (autism ect...) Not only do I enjoy working one on one with a child, I also have experience working with a large amount of children (40+) at one time so needless to say I have a huge amount of patience. I am a junior at UMW studying child psychology and see every interaction with a child as a gift to learn and grow. I look forward to working with you and hope to help your family in any way I can :) For the last year I have worked at Snowden in-patient psychitaric hospital full time. On a daily basis I work with children with mental illness, behavioral defiance and autistic spectrum disorders.Â
