Hi, my name is Megan. A little bit about me: I am 22 years old and am a recent college graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice. I moved to Virginia from Michigan to pursue an internship with the government and have recently become a permanent resident. I am CPR and FIrst Aid Certified for adults, infants, and children through the American Red Cross.
I have been babysitting since the age of 11. I have babysat for multiple families in the past elven years ranging from newborns to young teenageers. I have babysat for family members, friends, friends of the family. Throughout high school I was a participator in the Big Brothers Big Sisters Program with a neighboring elementary school where I sat down with students and assited them with homework, reading, and extra curricular activites.
While babysitting for families, I also assited in cooking meals, light housekeeping, laundry, tutoring, bed time stories, movies, games and not only making the children comfortable but also the parents/guardians.

I set up an interview to meet with Megan. 10 minutes before the interview I get a text message asking me if I lived on base. My profile does state that I do. I gave directions on how to get on base. 15 minutes later I get another text saying that her phone was dying and that she left her license at home and if she could reschedule. I told her yes and if the following day was okay. I also asked if me living on base was a problem. I never received a reply. Thinking maybe her phone had died, I waited. Now two days later still no response. Even if coming onto base was a problem, at least call or message stating so. Not responding at all is highly unprofessional. - Jessica P.
