Kate did a wonderful job with our three children. We brought her with us on a business trip. She stayed with my 4 and 2 year old daughters and my 4 week old baby boy. She follows directions well and my children loved her. I did not give her five stars because she lacks a little bit in communication. I like to know, in detail, how the children did after I return. Having Kate babysit was a wonderful experience. She has a pleasing personality and seems to be very confident, which made me very comfortable leaving for the evening. My daughter took to Kate right away. While I finished getting ready upstairs I could hear my daughter giggling and laughing – music to my ears. They did not have to resort to TV all evening, which is also something I appreciate in a babysitter. I had told Kate about a medication my daughter was to take, but I forgot to put it out for her. Kate attempted to contact me at bedtime in order to give my daughter her medicine. I am very happy with Kate’s level of communication. Kate also filled me in at the end of the evening about the activities they did, including leaving us a plate full of delicious brownies! (Yes – she even cleaned up all of the baking mess). She is great at responding to messages too. I do not hesitate to recommend Kate, as she is a great babysitter and I will definitely use her again. - Barbie W.

My children love Kate. She has babysat for me once, and we are scheduled to have her come again. Kate is a pleasant, cheerful, competent woman. She is obviously extremely comfortable with kids. Kate is a wonderful babysitter! She walked into our house humming a tune, which eventually eased our 9 mo. baby to sleep at the end of their evening together. She is confident, caring, easy to get along with, and gently stern when necessary. We had immediate trust in her. Kate wasn't afraid to correct our older children (4 & 6 yrs) while we were still home, when they acted out of turn. She cooked them dinner, bathed them, and put them to bed. When we came home, we had a wonderful note detailing the entire night's events, and she even cleaned the children's playroom, which was a mess prior to her arrival. Kate is a gem....and we would highly recommend her to anyone. We have asked her back to care of our children next weekend as well. - Kristin D.

Kate watched my 2 sons for my first job I posted on sitter city and she did a wonderful job. My 2 boys had no complaints at all, we kept in contact before that Friday and all the way through the evening, and really made me feel secure leaving her with my sons.
