Hi, my name is Serena Freeman.

I'm (as of January 26th, 2012) 24 years old, have lived in the Kitsap area of Washington most of my life, and moved to the Seattle area about 3 years ago. I have worked as a nanny for the entirety of that time. I began my career in child care at the age of 12, when I started volunteering at a summer camp for children with special needs. I fell in love with the work, and have been working in the child care field ever since. I have worked with a wide range of ages, and in a variety of situations. For example, I have done child care in settings from in-home, to daycares, to recreational camps, to taking the children I've cared for on outings to the zoo, music classes, and more. I have worked in nanny share arangements, and have an extensive background in Early Childhood Education. I enjoy the uniqueness of each child I've worked with. That is probably the main thing that has allowed me to continue doing child care for so long and stay every bit as interested in it as the day I started.
