I have experience babysitting from when I was in high school when I would look after children in my neighborhood, but I have not done it recently. The age of the kids I watched ranged from 5-12 years old. I have some experience dealing with autism, as one of the children I used to look after was diagnosed with the condition. I currently have one pet, a cat, and have had several pets in the past: two German Shepherds and a cat.
I do not have a specific caregiving philosophy. I feel that the parents have determined the best method to raise their children and I would simply build off of their philosophy. I would not want to deviate from what the children are accustomed to in order to create stability for the children.
