I am a nanny because I love children. I began working as a nanny 10 years ago, starting as a mother's helper, and progressing to babysitting for families in my neighborhood. My family also raised guide dogs, so I grew up training and caring for 4 dogs in the household. In middle school I moved and babysat regularly for one family, as well as referred families. During this time I also volunteered every Sunday at the West Vancouver SPCA, helping care for the dogs and cats there and at the front desk with adopting families.

I moved again in high school neat a golf resort called Predator Ridge. There I managed a log cabin café for visiting guest's children to play, read and socialize, and as a receptionist at the gym and swimming pool. The resort also referred me to visiting guests and local families with my information as a babysitter, and so I worked for many families and children of all ages. After graduation, I moved to New York where I was self employed in fashion and as a writer. I also continued to nanny for one family during my 3 years there. I moved to Seattle 2 years ago for college and to be near my family. I still work as a self employed writer during my free time.

Since I have recently finished my credits I am now available full-time as a nanny and babysitter. I am nurturing and helping children and families brings me joy and satisfaction. I engage with children and infants in learning, playing with toys and games, reading stories, going to parks and initiating activities, and providing love and attention. I am experienced cooking for families, such as preparing breast milk or formula, pureeing foods for infants, preparing snacks, baking and making lunches and dinners. I am helpful with cleaning and errands, organized, diligent and responsible.
