During the school year, I am a special ed. assistant at a Seattle public school. I am looking for a part-time or full-time nanny/childcare position for the months of July and August. I have my own transportation and great references.
For as long as I can remember working with children in some capacity has been a passion of mine. Since the age of 15, I have worked as a babysitter, a nanny, a teacher, a camp counselor, an afterschool counselor, and an outdoor counselor for at-risk teenagers. with the exception of the outdoor counselor position, I have held each of these positions for at least one year if not longer. I enjoy working with children of all ages. Some of the activities I enjoy doing with children are going to playgrounds, playing catch and other sports, doing puzzles, coloring, building with blocks, going to zoos and museums, and many other activities.
Though I currently do not hold CPR or First Aid certificates, I have taken both classes many times over the years and have earned both certifications.
