I have sat for various ages of infants; changing, playing, feeding, etc. and also watched a handful of lively toddlers as well, up to 4 children at a time. I also cared for my sister's children while she would be away when she needed. I helped to care for my niece from the time she born to about 5 months of age and my nephew is now 13 years of age. I helped care for him the past couple of years. I like to make sure children are happy and content. Rules do need to be followed and whatever rules the parents have, I will make sure the children go by them. I do have fun, too. I am also CPR certified. Family pets are not a problem.

I am currently having Joanna babysitting my six months old boy twice a week. Joanna is very friend and enthusiastic about children. My baby is in the stage of having the stranger anxiety issue, but Joanna is trying her best to get my baby to be familiar with her. Joanna is an excellent sitter! She came to us on short notice. She arrived on schedule and took to our girls very well. What a relief to find this sweet girl! Joanna is peppy, organized and on time. Another plus is her artistic nature, which is an important element when someone is hanging with my kids. Creative people tend to be more intuitive and come up with more interesting ideas to explore the world...and I can see these qualities in Joanna. My son didn't cry when I left and he later didn't want me to take off the last diaper she had put on him because "his friend" had put it on. He did a happy dance when I mentioned her name again later that evening. I am excited about finding Joanna and will most definitely call her again! - Karli D.

Joanna came and sat for my 10 and 7 year old on short notice. She was on time, active and professional. My two kids had a great time with her, and they were very busy. Within 4 hours they made cookies together and dinosaur fossils (for dinosaur week). They also went to the park and played before eating dinner and cleaning up. By the time I came home they were watching a movie together. I definitely recommend Joanna and I will request Joanna to babysit the kids in the future, however my kids want her to babysit for them now. - Mark B.
