Professionally I have worked as a Domestic Violence Advocate for the last 5 years. I have worked with children of all ages that have been exposed to violence and neglect. Due to this work experience I have a strict policy of creating a nonviolent environment for children. I believe that children thrive better and are more sucessful when in a nurturing, communicative, and loving environment.
I have babysat since I was 13 years old and truly love children. My first babysitting job was for a 6 month old baby. She is now 18 years old and getting ready to begin college. I have also babysat for several toddlers and grade school children. I have worked with families in the Seattle area for the last 2 years with children from 7 months to 6 years; and having the time of my life. I complete general house keeping tasks such as laundry, cooking and light housework during nap or after bedtime.

Kristina is an outstanding babysitter for both my boys (3 years old and 11 months). She is incredibly sweet, kind, affectionate, energetic, very loving, very patient (there is a big need of patience with my 2 boys!), and always engages them in fun and stimulating activities (e.g. she reads a lot to them, while I am a bit lazy about that). Kristina is absolutely trustworthy, and a very responsible and mature person. When I leave my children in her care I know they are in the greatest hands. We used Kristina this past Friday. It was our first time using sittercity and our first time using Kristina. We asked to meet her before the job date and she gladly accommodated us. Our children (3 year old girl and 11 month old boy) responded positively to her right away. She was always on time. Usually jobs at our house are pretty easy, but this one was a bit rough. Our son had a bit of a cold so was not sleeping well. Kristina was great with him, got him back to sleep, kept him comfortable (he peed through his diaper). She has obviously watched and worked with children before. She is confident and competent. We would definitely use her again. - Kelly E.
