Cara L. Babysitter in Seattle, WA 98102. Looking for work as a babysitter or mother's helper.

From the age of 16-19 I nannied for a total of two different families. Children's ages at the time were 5 thru 12yrs. They were great kids. We drove to and from activities & school. We did homework, cooked and did light housework. After highschool I attended and graduated from the School of Healing Arts where I studied Massage Therapy and Holistic health. After a few years of practicing massage therapy, in 2006 I was married to my husband and in 2007 we had our daughter, Sydney. She is now 5 yrs and will start full-day kindergarten at Montlake Elementary on Sept 5th. Our family moved to Seattle to pursue work for my husband, Shane. I have since then nannied for three different families in the area, along side watching my two. The children cared for were from infancy to the age of 5 yrs at PT & FT hours. These three recent families are the source of my current references, and wonderful people.  

Since moving to the Seattle in late 2008 we had our son, Cameron. He is now 16 months old. My current summer position is ending on the mid sept and I will be looking to ease into a new schedule with a new family soon. 

A Little About US:

I am 27 years young, athletic, energetic and positive. Im a goal setter and organized. I value kindness, education, art, and wellness as top priorities especially in regards to rearing children. MY Likes: Family, photography, guitar, singing/songwriting, hiking, racquetball, natural health, organic food & Dave Ramsey. MY Dislikes: Excessive Media & TV, MSG, and Arizona in the summer. My husband has a background in propterty management and currently works from home. He is able to provide pick-up for my daughter some days if I am needed elsewhere. He is also a full-time student completing his degree at UW.

My kids are just like me. Full of energy and egar to learn. They seem to get along with and have a wonderful time with other children. We take regular trips to the parks, libraries and ZOOs. Part of my desire to continue nannying with my kids is to help them develop socially around other children and stay on a routine to better prepare them for life  - and I believe this will benifit your kids as well. I genuinely love kids and feel like I connect well with them. I will contribute to a fun enviornment for them where they can feel safe, loved and also challenged to reach their potential. I was raised in a family with five children and two loving parents. I've nannied for younger parents, parents my age and older than myself. I respect parenthood and individual opinions on parenting and love learning from one another and creating a fun community for kids. I'm an open book so if you've got questions, don't be shy!
