Hi everyone! My name is Kristin and I am a responsible, honest, and safety first college student. I have worked with kids ranging from newborn to adult in the past couple of years as well as currently. I have also looked after children with special needs. I have over five years of experience with taking care of children from family, friends, and at my church daycare. I have learned the responsibility that parents must have in raising their children and the importance of picking the right person to look after them, when as parents we sometimes need some help.

I love working with people which shows in my volunteer services at Harrison Hospital. I just graduated this June with my first degree, an Associate in Arts and Sciences, but not my last from Olympic College. I am also a Dean’s scholar and honor student who won a full year’s tuition scholarship in 2009. I put the same dedication towards school towards other tasks in my life that need to be accomplished. For the time being this could mean helping with your needs as a babysitter. Or perhaps cleaning, cooking, taking care of pets, tutoring, and just being a friend to your children.

One thing that will make you feel more comfortable about trusting a person off the internet is that I am all about safety. I am trained in First Aid and CPR through Olympic College and you can see my cards upon request. I also have taken parenting classes at Harrison and Bremerton Navy Hospital, along with a class at Harrison on how to properly install a car seat. I know choking hazards in food and toys, I look up recalled items, and I enforce safety first when going anywhere.
