-link2(washTimes): So true! I had to do all the work in finding out the tax rates/% for my current family. When she found out she had match what I withheld & pay (none withheld) she complained. I’m leaving this family at the end of the summer.
-link3(washPost): Hmm. Year round school just so parent dont have to find a summer helper isnt the right idea. If you want year round school bc you want kids to learn better
( afterall, despite being the US, a top 3 developed nation, the US lags behind in every subject educaton wise )
Im all for it . School isnt a babysitter.
Plus many school dont have AC so your kids will be suffering in the summer heat.
School budgets are already strained so is there $ to pay all school employees ( teachers, janitors, security, crossing guards, cafeteria, etc ) to work 3 addit’l months?

-link6(kate): What Kate says is nice but she is lying. No chef is fine but she does have help. She has said so in previous interviews. She goes back & forth from Cali, NY to London. Then on location sets throught Europe & the Carribbean. She leaves her kids bc Mia was in school, so s/t Joe would come. Now he is in school so he too stays home for his school.
I like how she feels but y lie? You’re more relatable when you’re HONEST.

2: Excellent article. Caregivers need to been saving for SS( their reitrement) as well as pay in2 unemplyment just in case.
3: I disagree. Having year round school just so parents dont have to pay for private daycare/nursery school/preK ISNT the answer. Already public school are strained. There isnt money to pay all employees to be 12mo porfessionals.
4: No comment as I dont have a mobile let alone an iphone.
5: THANKS. Free is the BEST price.
6: Kate is lying. In numerous interviews she has saod she DOES HAVE HELP as she didnt want Mia missing school, plus her father ( kate’’s 1st husband Jim Threaplton ) didnt let Mia follow Mom all over the globe from Cali -NY- London, the Carrrib & throughout Europe for her films.
. . i get what Kate is tryna say–she wants her kids to grow up normal as sh did– but if u want us your fans to relate 2 u pls be HONEST.
