5 Ways to Celebrate Your Petsitting Anniversary
When you’ve been in petsitting for a while, it’s almost a little too easy to fall into a routine with your clients. Stability is GREAT, but it’s also smart to do things to energize your clients and remind them of your services. That’s why it’s important to take full advantage of your “petsitting anniversary.”
After you’ve been in business for a year, throw yourself a little celebration to get back in the spotlight with current clients and to make yourself known to potential new clients as well.
Here are five ideas to roll out during your “petsitting anniversary month”:
- Create a flyer announcing your anniversary and thanking your clients for providing you with such great business over the past year. You can make a print version to mail or make a PDF version to email.
- Offer 10% off your services for all first-time bookings.
- Offer your current clients a free petsitting visit for each new person their refer to you.
- Select a charity and let your clients know that in honor of your anniversary and because you have been blessed with such good business, you are starting a new tradition of donating a portion of your sales to a particular foundation each year.
- Introduce new year-round promotions/discounts, such as offering a free petsitting day for every 5 days purchased, a 5-10% off discount for seniors, a 5-10% discount for military families, $10 off the total bill for new clients who book for a week or longer, etc.
So, how long have you been in business as a petsitter? Do you run any specials or plan to celebrate your next anniversary in a unique way?
