Once you register with Sittercity, you'll immediately be able to post jobs and search for sitters in your area. We recommend you post a job and let the sitters find you. Sittercity will also email your posting directly to local sitters on the same day you post it online. Sitters whose schedule and credentials match the ones you're looking for will respond to your posting, present their resumes, showcase their feedback from other parents, provide references and explain exactly why they'd like the job. You can follow Sittercity's four-step screening process (reading parent feedback, checking references, conducting an interview, ordering an optional background check) and select the best match for your family!
Your free Sittercity membership is good through March 1, 2009, beginning on the day you register.
Sittercity provides convenient, discounted access to optional LexisNexis background checks for an additional fee (approximately $10). That being said, it costs nothing to view a background check that has already been run by another user.
