How do I enable cookies?
Back to helpTurning cookies on is different depending on the type of browser you use, so take a look below for instructions for Internet Explorer, Firefox and Safari.
Internet Explorer (6 and 7)
Firefox (for a Mac)
Safari
Internet Explorer (6 and 7)
- In the menu at the top of your screen, click Tools, and then click Internet Options.
- Click the Privacy tab.
- Move the Privacy Settings slider to the bottom to select Accept All Cookies.
- Click OK.
Firefox (for Windows)
- In the menu at the top of your screen, click Tools, and then click Options.
- Select the Privacy icon in the left panel, then click the box next to Cookies on the right to expand. (If you have Firefox 2.0, the Privacy icon will be at the top and you won't have to click anything to access cookie options.)
- Check the box corresponding to Allow sites to set cookies. (For Firefox 2.0, click the box corresponding to Accept cookies from sites.)
- Click OK.
Firefox (for a Mac)
- From the top menu bar, click Firefox, then click Preferences.
- Click the Privacy icon, then click Cookies.
- Check the box corresponding to Allow sites to set cookies (or Enable Cookies, depending on which version you're using).
Safari
- From the top menu bar, click Safari, then click Preferences.
- Click the Security icon.
- Next to Accept Cookies, click Always.
