What is the criteria for a completed background check?

Back to help
A completed background check contains:

  • Verified Social Security number (SSN)
  • Verified name and other identifying information
  • No felony convictions
  • No misdemeanors
  • No sex offenses

Please note that traffic violations are not checked unless a state reports these violations as a criminal offense (a felony or misdemeanor).

Also, note that certain states (Vermont and Washington) do not report sex offenses.
