National Sex Offender Registry Search

From the Department of Justice

http://www.nsopr.gov/

Search by someone's first name, last name, county, city or up to 5 ZIP codes. You'll get a list of offenders with the offender's picture, height, weight, race, address, age, crimes and county of conviction.

Additional Background Check Resource

http://www.backgroundchecks.com

Run a personal background check, search public records, national criminal records, property records and more. You can also view a sample report before you buy.

FBI Identification Record Request (Criminal History Record)

http://www.fbi.gov/hq/cjisd/fprequest.htm

An individual may request a copy of his/her own FBI identification record (who they share this with is up to them). To do this, the person must visit the local law enforcement agency to get fingerprinted and send these fingerprints along with a form and $18 to the FBI. Click here for more info.
