Do you screen parents/care seekers?
Back to helpWe give YOU the tools to screen families to find the best fit for you (who knows better than you do?):
- First, check the family's profile for feedback left by a previous caregiver. Were the parents perpetually late? Did the kids decide it would be a fun activity to toilet paper the living room? And bedroom, and kitchen? Sittercity thinks you should get the scoop directly from the sitters and caregivers who've been there, done that.
- Second, use the security resources linked to on the parent profiles to run a background check on the care seeker.
- Finally, our libraries (for petsitters and babysitters -- more coming soon!) also have several articles on interviewing and the screening process to help you determine if a family is right for you, not to mention an entire category of security articles designed to keep you safe online and off. Learn what to ask on your interview, how to prepare like a pro and much more.
