How do I apply for jobs?
Back to helpBefore you can apply for the jobs, first you have to know how to find them. One way to do this is to check your email each morning for Sittercity's daily job alerts, featuring the new open jobs in your area.
Another way to find work is to conduct a search. To do this, click the appropriate care type tab after you've logged in (depending on which type of jobs you're interested in). On that page, look for the Search for Jobs module and enter in as much criteria as you'd like.
Once you've found some great jobs that fit into your schedule, contact the person and tell them a little bit about yourself, your background, experience, credentials, training, etc. Why would you be the best choice for their family? What was it about the job that drew you in? (Probably not the best idea to answer, "The cash.") Simply tell them what you think they need to know to see that you're perfect for the job.
