Kiera N. Nanny in San Diego, CA 92109. Looking for work as a live out nanny.

My name is Kiera Newman and I am 21 years old.  I currently live in Reno and graduate in May from the University of Nevada, Reno with a communications and a minor in journalism degree.  I am from Las Vegas and am looking to find work in Los Angeles, CA or San Diego, CA.  The past 4 months I have been solely focusing on finishing school so have not been working for the first time since I was 17 years old.  I love being busy and active, which is one of the main reasons I love kids so much!

I started babysitting when I was 12 years old (seems crazy now) and have ever since.  I love being around kids, the attitudes, the laughter and the desire to always learn is fascinating and they always manage to leave me with a smile.  I have a younger brother, an older sister and a lot of younger cousins so I know how to adapt to many different personalities.  The past 4 years I have been in Reno and would occasionally babysit a family that had an adopted 7 year old girl and another family who had a 6 year old girl, a 3 year old boy and a massive dog.  I am comfortable with any ages but prefer newborn-12 years old.

Growing up, my family had horses, dogs, cats, chickens and a turtle so animals do not bother me at all.  I have participated in a lot of volunteer work throughout the years such as: old folks home, reading at elementary schools, teaching PE lessons at elementary schools, community clean-ups, etc. I love knowing that I am helping a family. My favorite part about being a nanny is being able to be a role model, play with them outside and reading before bed!
