I have always been interested in working with children and started babysitting at the age of 12. The youngest child I have babysat for was 5-6 months of age and I have worked for a family as long as 5 years. I have taken several child development classes and I feel it is my calling in life to work with children. In the future I plan to work with children with special needs. I am planning to take time off from school in order to save money and prepare for my masters degree. I hope to learn a lot and gain experience working with children and their families. I am energertic, loving, nurturing, dependable and reliable. I was CPR certified in high school (2008) and I would be willing to renew my certification if desired. I drive a reliable 2003 Ford Explorer and I have maintained a clean driving record. My specific experiences include: traveling out of the country with the family, staying over night when the parents were out of town, transporting the children to and from school, and coming up with fun activities. Other responsibilities that I have experience with include diaper changing, feeding, bathing, teaching, developing skills and enforcing the family rules.
