I started baby-sitting when I was 15 years old for a single mom with three children. Their ages were 6, 8, and 11 at the time, and I continued to care for them until I went to college at UNC-Wilmington, after which I would periodically care for them when I was home during holiday breaks. During this time I helped them with their homework, cooked them meals, and put them to bed. I loved caring for these kids as we developed a strong bond and there was never a dull moment. My other experiences babysitting/nannying have been with ages running from newborns to preteens. I love biking, tennis, swimming, fishing, and horseback riding. I don't like to sit in the house and watch TV. I would rather be outside exploring things they are interested in, which creates a much more positive experience & relationship. Of course, if they are newborns or infants, I would give my complete attention to at all times for their wellness in development and comfort.  I have long-term experience with caring for infants and children up to the age of 12 yearls old.  Also, I have several reference available.
