Jenny R. Nanny in Denver, CO 80203. Looking for work as a live out nanny.

Hello! I have been caring for children of all ages for 15 years and have built close relationships with the familes I've helped. As a live-out nanny for three toddlers in a Stapleton nanny-share this year, I cared for children full-time while their parents went to work. I was a nanny for twin toddlers in NY and I cared for the children full-time as well. Some of my responsibilities included: cooking/preparing meals, bathing, potty-training, putting them down for afternoon naps, transporting the children to activities, playing games indoors/outdoors, teaching them basic reading, writing, and math skills, creating learning activities/ art projects, and occasionaly watching other children of the family who came over to visit. I enjoy all aspects of childcare and love to get to know each kid I care for and their personal interests.

I have experience caring for older children as well, especially during the summertime when camps and sport activities are usually frequent. I'm comfortable transporting kids to extracurricular activities as needed.

I have 2 years experience teaching special education in the VA public school system, working with children who have cognitive, emotional and physical special needs. I also have taught English as a second language to students overseas. I have a passion for animals, as well, and I plan on pursuing graduate studies in social services and animal assisted therapy/counseling while I am living in Colorado. In my free time I volunteer working with at risk youth at the local farm.
