I started working with kids when I was 15. I worked for the YMCA of Metro Detroit in their preschool room for 3 years. That is where I found my love for working with children. I went on to major in child development at Central Michigan University. I worked as a nanny and also coached youth soccer. After college I went back to the YMCA to run their summer camp and sports department. After 2 years of this I decided to move to Colorado to work at the Boulder Valley YMCA as the child watch coordinator. I ran enrichment programs for children 0-5 years. I loved working at the YMCA and with children but I knew if I wanted to do more I would have to further my education. I am currently work on my Masters in Education with Ashford University.

I have worked with children most of my life. I started at the YMCA as a camp counselor and after college ran everything from their camp, sports and preschool departments. In college I nannied for a family for 2 and also coached 6-8 year old soccer.
