My first experiences were in a large family in Dakar where the older kids help take care of the little ones. We learned to interact, sing songs, and play so that the younger siblings were happy and safe. When I came to this country I enjoyed helping busy parents who needed housework support as well as child care. Then when I moved to Michigan my employer was Hope Network which runs group homes for [physically and emotionally challenged teens and young adults. There I obtainied 13 specialized certificates, my CNA, First Aid and CPR..I also obtained a license as a medical message therapist. All of this training helps me do a better job not only with various special needs clients but also with all children and families.
